Arthroscopic surgery

Arthroscopic surgery is to repair shoulder problems using long thin surgical instruments with a video camera which provides the inside view. These instruments are inserted through tiny incisions.

Other incisions are made for small plastic tubes called cannulas, which are inserted to place surgical instruments in the shoulder.

Why arthroscopy?

1.It only needs small incisions, minimal scarring, minimal damages to surrounding tissues, focusing on specific area to work on
2.Able to observe the problem precisely
3.Able to reach out profoundly
4.Faster recovery time

Arthroscopic surgery

Arthroscopic surgery involves treating shoulder joint lesions by creating only small incisions. Through these incisions, an endoscope (arthroscope, camera) is inserted into the body, and the procedure is performed while viewing the area on a television monitor.
